Leeds United drew 2-2 at Bournemouth on Wednesday evening to move another step closer to safety. The Whites were without Anton Stach, although the latter is now back in training.

Stach is “days rather than weeks” away from a return, according to Daniel Farke, meaning he could be back as early as this weekend’s FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea.

However, in a new injury blow, it was announced ahead of the Bournemouth game that Ilia Gruev has sustained a meniscus injury. Given the speculation regarding the midfielder’s future, that could mean he has played his final game at Elland Road.

Jayden Bogle also came off at half-time with a foot injury, but Farke has since confirmed he should be okay for Wembley, while Sebastiaan Bornauw will return to training on Friday after rolling his ankle ahead of the Bournemouth game.
