Michael Zetterer finally looks set to complete his move to Leeds United.

It has been a wild couple of weeks for goalkeepers at Elland Road, as the Whites look set for a complete revamp.

The summer started with Illan Meslier leaving for Arsenal, and Karl Darlow joining Manchester United, both letting their contracts expire.

Daniel Farke then moved for James Trafford, with Leeds smashing their transfer record to sign him from Manchester City.

Then, all eyes were on a new number two, as Alex Cairns signed a new deal to keep his spot as third choice in LS11.

Zetterer has been in a 'will he, won't he' scenario for days now, but finally looks destined for West Yorkshire.

Michael Zetterer given permission to sign for Leeds

After flying into England last week, Zetterer made up his mind to sign for Leeds this summer.

But, even after that, things have taken their time.

Lucas Perri needed to leave and will finally join Torino, with Eintracht Frankfurt needing their own replacement for Zetterer.

With Noah Atubolu signed, doors have finally opened.

Zinny Boswell has now reported that Perri will fly into Italy for his medical and to sign for Torino on loan, with an option to buy, on Friday.

The Sky Sports journalist states that Zetterer has also been given the green light to travel to LS11 and complete his move, too.

Given the late update, it's likely that Zetterer will also complete his formalities on Friday to become signing number five.

Who else could Leeds sign?

With four days to go from Friday, business isn't slowing down at Elland Road.

Farke has improved his starting XI hugely with signings like Trafford, Tarik Muharemovic and Harry Wilson.

But more is still needed, with depth on the agenda now after plenty of movement going out, too.

A new left-back is wanted as cover for Gabriel Gudmundsson, with another striker and left-winger also on the agenda.

Zetterer ticks a big box in goal, with those ranks now sorted.

Conrad Harder could sign as a new striker from RB Leipzig, with a loan move possible for the Danish hitman.

Outside of that, the 49ers and Adam Underwood have kept transfer rumours leaking to a minimum.

Either way, Zetterer and Perri are the start of a very busy few days both in and out of Elland Road.
