Lucas Perri is set to travel to complete his move to Torino ahead of a Leeds United exit.

The Whites have been hoping to shift the Brazilian out of Elland Road all summer, with a replacement now found in James Trafford.

Even after Karl Darlow left, Perri was clearly headed for the exit door, given the involvement Alex Cairns had during pre-season.

The goalkeeper only joined Leeds last summer in a deal worth around £15million, but has failed to convince Daniel Farke that he can be the number one.

Ahead of his imminent exit, the Whites remain in the market for a deputy to Trafford, with two targets in mind.

But Leeds fans may be wondering how soon Perri's exit from Leeds can be completed in order to calm nerves ahead of Tuesday's deadline.

When could Lucas Perri have Leeds exit confirmed?

Perri has been given the green light to join Torino after weeks of back and forth between the two clubs.

The 28-year-old is set to join the Serie A side on an initial season-long loan, which also includes an option for the Italian outfit to make the move permanent.

Elland Road is situated approximately 732 miles away from the Olympic Grande Torino Stadium, which is set to become Perri's new home for the season ahead, and possibly longer.

In an update from Sky Sports reporter Luca Bendoni on X, it is said that Perri will fly to Italy on Friday to complete his move to Il Toro.

This is when an official announcement could be made, with days to spare ahead of the deadline window closing the following week.

With that said, there has been a slight twist in Leeds' race to replace Perri.

Leeds' two targets for second-choice goalkeeper

Leeds have been keen on signing Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Michael Zetterer, who is surplus to requirements at the Bundesliga side.

It's said that the 31-year-old is open to leaving Germany after learning he will not be the first-choice keeper for the season ahead, though the Whites also view him as a back-up option.

The West Yorkshire club have been reportedly close to signing the German, according to recent reports.

The 21-year-old could cost less than £7million, and is an alternative option for Zetterer.

With only five days to go, we'll find out soon.
