The Michael Zetterer turnaround that's taken place as Leeds United fee locked in
Leeds United appear to be on the verge of announcing a deal for goalkeeper Michael Zetterer.
The 31-year-old will arrive at Elland Road as back-up to club-record acquisition James Trafford.
Beyond Trafford, Daniel Farke has just Alex Cairns to call upon following the exits of Lucas Perri and Karl Darlow.
Zetterer emerged as a target last week, though there has been confusion regarding the transfer.
This comes after Zetterer's agent denied a move to Leeds was happening.
But everything now points towards a deal being on the verge of being announced by the Whites.

Zetterer missed training with Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday to fly to West Yorkshire, where he was set to undergo a medical.
As per Frankfurter Rundschau on Sunday, Frankfurt had been pushing for a turnaround after the player's agent's recent comments.
The Bundesliga side will land £4.3million through Zetterer's sale, which is what they paid to sign him from Werder Bremen a year ago.
The report adds that the final details are now being worked on alongside the medical.
It adds further depth to Farke's squad on the back of the opening-game 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest, secured thank to a late Anton Stach free-kick at the City Ground.

Leeds have prioritised quality over quantity this window.
Signing Trafford from Manchester City was a huge coup, even if he did cost up to £45m.
Tarik Muharemovic set Leeds back around £34m, meanwhile, and Nico Elvedi was an £8.5m addition.
When you also factor free agent Harry Wilson into the mix, Leeds have spent under £90m on four top signings.
Zetterer will now become the latest name on that list as Farke's squad truly takes shape.
It will leave just a new striker being required before the window closes at 11pm on 1 September, although the squad as it stands is more than capable of helping Farke achieve his aims for the season.
