Leeds line up two more signings after Harry Wilson 'confirmed' with talks and bids underway
Leeds United are only getting started by signing Harry Wilson after agreeing personal terms with the Wales international.
It's been widely reported that Leeds have won the race to sign Wilson on a free transfer this summer after his contract with Fulham wasn't renewed.
Aston Villa, Everton and Benfica were other clubs who were linked with the ex-Liverpool forward, who scored 11 goals and supplied eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions last season for Fulham.
Leeds are now in the market for more signings and it's been reported that Borussia Dortmund's Julian Brandt and Southampton's Shea Charles are in their sights.
Brandt, 30, is also due to become a free agent when his contract at Dortmund expires at the end of this month.
Charles, 22, was part of the Southampton side that was booted out of the Championship play-offs last season after the south coast club admitted to spying on three of their second-tier rivals.
Leeds explore Julian Brandt move - here's the likelihood of them sealing a deal
According to the Daily Mail on Wednesday, Leeds are now trying to sign Brandt to followed up what the newspaper now calls a 'confirmed' deal for Wilson.
Brandt, a 48-times Germany international but is not currently in his nation's World Cup squad, netted 11 times and supplied four assists in 41 total appearances for Dortmund last season.
He joined Daniel Farke's former club in 2019 and has left having played over 300 times for them, winning the German Cup and reaching the 2023-24 Champions League final.
However, according to Football Insider, any deal for Leeds to sign Brandt will be "very difficult", with Atletico Madrid and Roma currently in pole position to sign him up.
And the current state of play with Shea Charles?
Leeds have seen a £20million bid for Charles rejected by Southampton, but that doesn't mean they're down and out in the race to sign the Northern Ireland international.
The Mail claims that talks are still being held with the Saints, who will be lucky to keep hold of Charles and their other best players after the club's actions saw their Premier League dreams dashed.
Charles is a holding midfielder who trained alongside ex-Leeds star Kalvin Phillips during his time at Manchester City.
He scored six times last season and set up a further two goals in 38 total appearances.
The former Sheffield Wednesday loanee is capable of playing at right-back and in a more central midfield role, meaning he could be a fairly versatile addition to Farke's squad.
While it remains to be seen if another offer will be made, the fact that negotiations are still rumbling on with Southampton suggests that this deal is more likely than the Brandt one.
