Nelson Deossa's future has been a much-talked-about topic amid interest from Leeds United.

The Real Betis midfielder looked destined to leave the Seville-based club this summer, with the La Liga side needing sales.

A move to Vasco de Gama looked on, but Deossa asked for that move to be halted with Leeds and other Premier League sides circling.

Interest in the Colombian had gone as far as the Whites sending scouts out to Dublin to watch him in action against Arsenal, where he scored.

However, so far a move has not materialised for the South American.

Betis are willing sellers and would sanction his sale with how much they want for a transfer now emerging following reports of a Leeds bid.

How much do Real Betis want for Leeds target Nelson Deossa?

Deossa's future could take many twists and turns from now until the end of the window.

According to the Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo, all posibilities still "remain open."

However, if Daniel Farke's side want to strike a deal with the La Liga side, the terms of an agreement have been reported by the same outlet.

They share that the plan for Deossa's exit is to recoup slightly less than the £10.2million they previously paid for them.

But, they would also try and see if they could turn a small profit on the Colombian this summer.

The information states that an exit for Deossa is still being pursued by Real Betis, as his sale is "crucial" for the Spanish club's squad planning.

Amid the demands from Betis, it has also been reported that the Whites have tried to test that resolve.

According to Noticias Betis, Leeds sent a £6.8m bid for the 26-year-old, which was rejected.

Betis pointed towards that £10.2m price point, according to the report.

While, the 26-year-old does want to remain with the green and whites, Deossa could still be tempted away with the right conditions.

And with that bid, the LS11 outfit may feel like they could provide that to Deossa.

Leeds have the money for Deossa, so should they just get a deal done?

Leeds have the money to sign a new midfielder and that was evident with a £23m bid lodged for Shea Charles earlier in the summer

However, the Whites are not blessed with the same fortunes as many others in the Premier League may be.

The LS11 outfit would have viewed Charles at that price point but having the money does not mean you should just spend it frugally.

Leeds have been smart this summer with their signings and even though £10.2m may not seem like much money, they should still stick to their guns at their own valuation of Deossa.
