What has been said about late-window Leeds transfer?
If the transfer window was to close right now, Daniel Farke can be happy with his side's overall business.
Even accounting for the loss of Pascal Struijk to Brighton, plus Karl Darlow exiting as a free agent, the squad now is stronger than it was three months ago.
And it may get even stronger yet.
Journalist Alan Nixon, formerly of The Sun, provided a cryptic transfer update via his personal X account on Saturday.
Asked what Leeds fans can expect in terms of the his next transfer update, he replied: "A target. An ambitious target."
While the identity of the player was not revealed, it got Leeds fans speculating on social media as to who it may be.
Who could 'ambitious' Leeds target be?
A few names could fit into this category in terms of previous Leeds targets, such as Igor Paixao.
The Marseille winger has been linked with some big-name clubs and is valued around the £43m mark.
A more ambitious target for Leeds would be Rafael Leao, who has also been linked on and off this summer.
Of those yet to have been linked, which this latest update seems to imply, Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri's name has been mentioned by some.
That really would put the icing on the cake of what has been a very strong transfer window for Leeds.
