Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow looks set to join Manchester United.

The 35-year-old's contract with the Whites expired on 30 June, but there was hope that a new deal could be reached.

He started 22 Premier League matches for Daniel Farke's side last season, after usurping Lucas Perri between the sticks.

The Old Trafford side were chasing the Leeds man on a free transfer, and it seems that they are set to get their wish.

Darlow will be a back-up with the Red Devils, as Senne Lammens is the starting keeper under Michael Carrick.

It leaves the LS11 side looking for a new starting goalkeeper, and MOT Leeds News rounds up where they stand on that front.

Could Zion Suzuki be the answer to Leeds' goalkeeping issues?

Zion Suzuki has been prominently linked with a move to the Whites.

The Japan star had turned down an Elland Road move, according to TuttoSport from Italy, where he plays his club football with Parma.

With Darlow to Carrick's side being a done deal, per Alex Crook, it makes sense for them to reignite that pursuit.

New reports from TuttoMercatoWeb on Wednesday have suggested that they are back in for the 23-year-old.

They are believed to face competition from the likes of Aston Villa, Everton and Juventus.

Jacob Widell Zetterstrom could be Leeds' new hero between the sticks

Leeds could chose Derby County's Jacob Widell Zetterstrom to take over from Darlow.

The Whites interest was first shared after he started in Sweden's last World cup group game against Japan.

Derbyshire Live reported on Wednesday that the Yorkshire side could be set to step up their chase for the Championship star.

It states that Derby have been linked with Anthony Patterson and Gavin Bazunu as potential replacements for the 27-year-old.

Konstantinos Tzolakis could be a wildcard for the Whites

Greek stopper Konstantinos Tzolakis could prove to be the answer for Farke's side.

Sport24 claim that the Peacocks are interested in the 23-year-old Olympiakos star.

Brighton, Coventry and Aston Villa are also believed to be tracking the Greek stopper.

The Red-Whites do not want to sell, it's said, but could be tempted by a £21.3million offer.

It remains to be seen which direction that the Peacocks will head in when it comes to their goalkeeping situation.

One thing for sure, it's another new signing they need now.
