Leeds United reach agreement to sign Michael Zetterer as saga rumbles on
Leeds United have agreed a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt for goalkeeper Michael Zetterer.
Daniel Farke remains in the hunt to sign a new goalkeeper before the summer transfer window closes next week.
James Trafford has arrived at Elland Road in a club-record deal and impressed on his debut against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
However, Lucas Perri is expected to join Karl Darlow and Illan Meslier in leaving the Whites, meaning that the Yorkshire giants need a new back-up goalkeeper and Zetterer, 31, is a contender.
It's been a confusing few days in the transfer saga involving Zetterer's potential move to Leeds.
However, there finally appears to be some clarity.

It all started last week when Leeds were first reported to be interested in signing Zetterer, who made 28 appearances for Frankfurt last season.
Zetterer's agent then categorically denied the fact that his client would be joining Leeds, claiming that he and his family are happy at Frankfurt.
Then came the shock twist at the weekend when reports emerged to say that Frankfurt and Leeds were close to agreeing a loan-to-buy deal and that Zetterer was in England to undergo a medical.
On Monday, news from Germany then suggested Zetterer was still training with Frankfurt.
Now, BILD report in their print edition on Tuesday that Frankfurt are looking to offload Zetterer and have agreed a deal with Leeds for the goalkeeper's transfer.
However, it is understood that the ex-Werder Bremen goalkeeper is yet to reach an agreement himself, meaning Leeds still have some convincing to do to get the deal done.
BILD claims that "in principle, a transfer appears possible".
How much is Zetterer going to cost Leeds?
A lot of the speculation regarding this transfer suggests that the deal will be an initial loan, with Leeds holding the option to make it permanent next year.
It's since been reported that the Whites are discussing a £4.3m deal for Zetterer.
That probably covers all the transfer fees for the loan-to-buy.
Should Leeds sell Perri before the transfer window shuts, they should make that money back, meaning that Zetterer becomes a fairly clever addition to Farke's ranks.
