Daniel Farke wants to get four more signings over the line before the summer transfer window closes next week.

Leeds United have already landed Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic, James Trafford and Nico Elvedi this summer.

All of those players, barring Elvedi, made their competitive debuts for the Whites on Saturday in the 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

Leeds' newest recruit Elvedi could make his debut for Leeds on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup clash against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

The Swiss defender is very unlikely to be Farke's final summer signing, though, with Leeds eyeing up several deals before the transfer window shuts at 11pm on Tuesday, 1 September.

And talks are underway over one multi-million signing.

What Leeds want to get done before 11pm next Tuesday

According to the Daily Mail in their print edition on 25 August, Leeds want to sign a goalkeeper, a defender, a winger and a striker before the transfer window shuts.

It is understood that free agent Diogo Leite is a defender on their radar.

The 27-year-old Portuguese centre-back is available on a free transfer after he left Union Berlin at the end of last season.

Leeds are also in talks over a £4.3million deal for Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Michael Zetterer.

The 31-year-old shot-stopper was rumoured to be having a medical with Leeds at the weekend, but it's since been claimed that he's still training with Frankfurt in Germany.

Who else could Leeds sign?

With Lucas Perri constantly linked with a move away this summer, a back-up goalkeeper is very important.

It also wouldn't hurt to add some more depth in the defence and out wide.

However, Farke really has to be prioritising a new striker, in our opinion, because as good as Dominic Calvert-Lewin did last season, he can't carry the burden all by myself.

Lukas Nmecha is of course another option Leeds have up front but he didn't score the goals required last term.

Stuttgart and Bosnia & Herzegovina striker Ermedin Demirovic is someone who's been linked lately, but there doesn't appear to be much in the way of concrete updates on him.
