Leeds United look at double new transfer after Michael Zetterer already

Leeds United are facing a race against time to complete their remaining business before the transfer deadline.

Daniel Farke completed his serious business early at Elland Road, with squad depth now needed to add to that.

Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic, James Trafford and Nico Elvedi have helped Leeds to a perfect start to the season.

Two wins over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League and Carabao Cup have delivered two clean sheets, too.

Spending over £80million, some positive sales have left the 49ers and Leeds with a decent budget still left to spend.

Michael Zetterer appears to be next through the door, joining as goalkeeper depth from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Where else do Leeds want to strengthen?

Zetterer isn't sorted yet, but looks to be down to final details.

Leeds have been in somewhat of a transfer saga with that one, but Zetterer's recent trip to the city looked to have sealed that move.

Once that is done, other areas are needing depth.

Sky Sports report that Leeds want another striker and winger, as well as left-back cover for Gabriel Gudmundsson.

Sources at Elland Road are now playing down the chances of another number nine, while a left-back is looking difficult.

It's stated that the Whites will only add players if they improve Farke's squad with six days to go.

Which transfers are most likely at Leeds now?

Given a new striker has been addressed directly, it appears that they are looking at left wingers and full backs.

Leeds actually made a loan bid for Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk, so that's the next priority on the list.

No left-backs have been mentioned specifically yet, but James Justin can't cover both flanks forever, no matter how good he's been.

Noah Okafor, Willy Gnonto and Dan James are current back-up options to Brenden Aaronson and Wilson.

Farke also has two strikers available, but another couple of bodies in the final third could take this squad to the enxt
