Harry Wilson could be set for Leeds United move as contract details emerge
Leeds United have set out of their stall to sign Harry Wilson as further details on a move for the free agent emerge.
The Whites are in a race for his signature with Everton and Aston Villa, while Fulham are still trying to convince him to stay.
Wilson was reportedly set to join Leeds last summer, but the plug was pulled on the deadline day switch at the last minute.
The 29-year-old is understood to be in talks with the Whites over a move to Elland Road.
Daniel Farke's side are pushing to land the winger, who notched 11 goals and eight assists in 41 games last season.
Now, details of the offer that is on the table from the Peacocks have come to light.
What contract terms have Leeds offered to Harry Wilson?
The Whites are understood to be in pole position for Wilson's signature.
Adonis Storr, who has written for The Guardian, BBC Sport and the i Paper, reported details of the contract offer on Thursday.
He stated that the LS11 side have offered the player a significant signing-on payment, a pay rise and a long-term deal to try and convince him to join.
The journalist claimed that he is seen as the missing piece in attack and Welsh stars Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon and Dan James have sold the club to him.
Where would Wilson operate for Leeds?
Wilson is in his prime, and his creative ability could work wonders for the likes Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor, who would likely play in the front three with him.
His ability to operate on the right and centrally gives Farke a different option, and his dead ball delivery and finishing are a new weapon.
He would most likely be utilised on the right side of the 5-2-3 that served the side so well last season, as an inverted winger.
If they can sign him ahead of their rivals, it would be a major coup and show just how high the ceiling is for the Whites.
They would no longer be looking at survival, but surely thinking about a potential European berth in the near future.
It also could convince players to choose a move to Yorkshire over a different destination.
