When Leeds United will officially announce Tarik Muharemovic transfer
Leeds United are set to officially announce the signing of Tarik Muharemovic.
The 49ers Enterprises have spared no expense to complete their second transfer of the summer at Elland Road.
Harry Wilson arrived first as the marquee free agent signing that everybody wanted from Fulham.
Now, Daniel Farke is splashing the cash.
After Pascal Struijk completed his move to Brighton for £20million last week, that money is being put towards Muharemovic.
With a £34m deal agreed with Sassuolo, Muharemovic may have already signed on the dotted line.
Timeline for Tarik Muharemovic announcement at Leeds
MOT Leeds News shared reports that Muharemovic was due in West Yorkshire on Thursday.
That looks to have come and gone without any official announcement.
The Bosnian defender was set to complete his medical and sign relevant documents to complete his move to LS11.
With that seemingly done, Graham Smyth was quizzed on when Muharemovic's move could actually be announced.
And the Yorkshire Evening Post journalist delivered, stating it will likely be on Friday now.
So, that's one piece of news for Leeds fans to get excited for.
What will be next for Leeds United?
Muharemovic and Wilson were two high-priority signings.
Everybody at Elland Road knew a Struijk replacement, as well as a new playmaking winger who can play centrally were needed.
So, what comes after that - with two marquee signings arriving for less than £40m in total.
Well, it's no secret that Farke desperately wants Shea Charles of Southampton, with two bids already rejected.
On top of that, a new goalkeeper and a full-back could complete the defence, although another central defender could still happen.
Then, it's all eyes on another number nine as Leeds look to not only build on Premier League survival, but maybe even push for Europe.
It's all about building a squad with not only depth, but quality in that.
Struijk's exit was somewhat forced by financial regulations, but banking pure profit and also selling Isaac Schmidt is brilliant trading.
There are still plenty of possible exits to follow, with the likes of Jack Harrison, Joe Gelhardt and Largie Ramazani still not seen.
Leeds haven't been good enough at selling in recent years, but if those three join the two that have already left in permanent deals, it opens the door to so much more.
Muharemovic is basically done, but there is so much more to come.
