Things are about to get worse for Daniel Farke with Lucas Perri latest at Leeds
Daniel Farke could see a third goalkeeper depart within a matter of weeks as Lucas Perri possibly looks for a way out of Leeds United.
The Brazilian shot-stopper may have already held talks over his exit from the Whites and expressed his desire to join a new club.
As things stand, the 28-year-old and Alex Cairns are the only two senior goalkeeping options at the West Yorkshire outfit.
With Farke already about to lose Karl Darlow, Perri's departure would certainly make matters worse at Elland Road.
The Wales international ended the 2025-26 campaign as the German manager's number one but has now become a free agent.
Illan Meslier also left the Peacocks at the end of the season and has now signed for Premier League champions Arsenal.
Everything Torino's sporting director said after Lucas Perri question
Gianluca Petrachi, Torino's sporting director, has admitted that there's a goalkeeper they've held talks with who has green-lit the transfer.
While Perri's name wasn't mentioned initially, the Italian club's chief was asked about him and gave a coy response.
Perri has recently been linked with Torino, and he has been described as a "dream target" for the Serie A side.
The former Olympique Lyon goalkeeper failed to convince Farke in the Premier League and lost his starting spot, but his exit may accelerate soon, which would certainly be a nightmare for the German manager.
Speaking to Sky Sports, as relayed by Tuttomercatoweb on 10 July, Petrachi said, "There's a goalkeeper who wants to join us; they've made him another offer, but he wants to join us."
When asked directly about Perri, he added, "I won't name names. There are two or three players who are being looked at, but with all due respect, I obviously can't say anything. We're definitely ahead of the game in terms of bringing in a strong goalkeeper."
What's the latest on Leeds United goalkeeper search?
Leeds are being heavily linked with Zion Suzuki, with the Parma goalkeeper putting in some decent performances at the 2026 World Cup.
The Whites are expected to push for the signing of the Japan international after holding initial talks that were unsuccessful.
A new official offer is expected to be tabled from the West Yorkshire outfit as they seriously pursue the 23-year-old.
If Perri also departs the Peacocks, Farke and the Elland Road hierarchy will surely need multiple additions in the goalkeeping department ahead of next season.
