Leeds United transfer state of play: Harry Wilson latest as Karl Darlow replacement lined up
Leeds United are working hard on the recruitment front in preparation for their return to Premier League action.
Last summer's transfer window was a resounding success, with Anton Stach, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all proving their weight in gold.
And if the Whites are to repeat that success, and even go one step further, a repeat will be needed this time around.
Leeds are closing in on the signing of Harry Wilson, who looks set to be their first addition of the window.
The Wales international will see his contract with Fulham expire at the end of June, affording him the chance to move to Elland Road for free
But as always with the summer window, there are several other happenings that will have fans excited for the future
What's the latest on Harry Wilson to Leeds?
David Ornstein reported earlier this week that Wilson had agreed terms with Leeds ahead of a free transfer.
The Wales star is due to undergo a medical with the Whites, where he will sign a contract that is said to come with a pay rise from his time at Craven Cottage.
At the time of writing, it's not known when that medical is due to take place, though what has been reported are the further contract details.
The Liverpool Echo have claimed that the Wales international will sign a long-term deal with the Whites, which, given his age, could be a risk.
Leeds linked with potential Karl Darlow replacement
Signing a new goalkeeper has been one of the main priorities for Leeds this summer, and as per reports, they are ready to accelerate those efforts.
Fabrizio Romano reported that the Whites have made an approach to sign Derby County's Jacob Widell Zetterstrom.
Zetterstrom featured for Sweden in their draw with Japan, and impressed Graham Potter.
He has just one year left on his deal with the Rams, perhaps suggesting that a summer exit is likely.
Karl Darlow has been linked with a move to Man United, potentially leaving the Whites in need of two new goalkeepers.
What else are Leeds working on?
The Whites have also been linked with a move for Nico Elvedi.
Daniel Farke knows him well from his time at Monchengladbach, though reports have since stated that Leeds are yet to submit an official offer, despite having shown an interest.
Links with Julian Brandt remain present, with the German star due to see his deal with Dortmund expire at the end of the month.
The 30-year-old registered 16 goal involvements in all competitions last season, showcasing the level of creativity and attacking threat he would bring to Elland Road.
Shea Charles is another player to keep an eye on, with an exit from Southampton looking likely.
