Leeds United transfer agreement hinted at by Joe Rodon's brother
Leeds United seem closer than ever to sealing the transfer of Harry Wilson, with Joe Rodon's brother hinting at the deal.
Leeds have made positive strides in their hunt for progression, with a deal for their first summer transfer already progressing.
It was reported by David Ornstein on Wednesday that the Whites had agreed a deal with Harry Wilson, with his contract with Fulham due to expire
The Wales international looks set for a medical ahead of a move to Elland Road, with a pay rise included.
Leeds failed in an attempt to land the Fulham star last season, and faced fierce competition for him this summer.
However, not only do the reports suggest that they have won the race, but Sam Rodon, the brother of Leeds star Joe Rodon, has also hinted at the news.
Sam Rodon's instant reaction to Harry Wilson news
Leeds are certainly building somewhat of a Welsh contingency, with Ethan Ampadu, Dan James, Karl Darlow and Rodon all among the Wales squad.
And it seems almost nailed on that Wilson will be the next to join them
Sam posted "Leeds" on X alongside a handshake emoji followed by the Wales flag, suggesting that a deal is close if not already complete.
Whether he knows something that we don't remains to be seen, though it certainly points towards the Wilson transfer edging even closer.
What's next on Leeds' shopping list?
Leeds needed more creativity, and with Wilson, they look set to get that.
However, they still have several other areas to address if they are to achieve success next season.
The first concerns the goalkeeping department, with a new number one likely to be the main priority.
Karl Darlow didn't do much wrong after stepping in for Lucas Perri last season, though an upgrade is still a necessity.
While the other priority is likely to be in regard to their attack.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor carried their efforts going forward, and adding someone else capable of scoring goals will be essential.
Having already been linked with a move for Lois Openda, it seems as though the Whites are aware of the need to bolster their attacking options.
