Leeds United's approach for Pavel Sulc could raise question marks for Daniel Farke.

The Lyon attacking midfield has been on the Whites radar for some time now.

The Whites are not the only club looking to add the Czechia star to their ranks.

MOT Leeds News has regularly kept supporters aware of the developments involving Leeds and the 25-year-old playmaker.

The LS11 club are believed to have held talks with the French side over a potential move.

That could cause issues for Brenden Aaronson and Harry Wilson, the latter who has just signed as a free agent, as he could outshine them.

How does Pavel Sulc compare to current Leeds United options

If Leeds agree a £21m deal for the attacking midfielder, the price tag which has been reported by Foot Mercato, then it will be interesting.

It would leave them with three players who prefer to play as the number 10, and Sulc may well come out on top.

The Czechia star notched 11 goals and three assists in Ligue 1 last season, while Wilson had 10 goals and seven assists, with Aaronson grabbing four goals and five assists.

He averaged 2.53 shots per 90 minutes, slightly lower than the former Fulham man's 2.61, but considerably higher than the American's 1.72, per Fotmob.

The trio are pretty similar when it comes to chances created, Wilson edges it with 1.30 per game, while Sulc records 1.26 and Aaronson has 1.24.

Where the potential new man stands out is touches in the opposition box, with 5.40 per game, compared to Wilson's 3.51 and Aaronson's 3.58.

That suggests that he would regularly get into more dangerous areas, while matching their creative outputs.

Why all three players could benefit from Leeds signing Sulc

All three could co-exist for the Peacocks, as they are versatile and can play across the wings as well as in the middle.

However, they will primarily compete for the number 10 spot, but that still may not be a problem.

There is plenty of games in the season, and different matches and in-game scenarios will need different solutions.

While Sulc looks the best statistically, it would not be clever to rely on just him if the Elland Road side want to establish themselves as a top-flight side.

They could also help to develop new areas to each other's game.
