Harry Wilson: Who Leeds United could sign next as first deal of summer agreed
Harry Wilson has reportedly agreed terms to sign for Leeds United once his deal with Fulham expires, but the Whites won't stop there.
It was always expected that the Whites were going to explore free agent signings once more this summer, and that has been the case with Wilson.
The Welshman has rejected the chance to stay with Fulham and was moved by the Whites' proposal ahead of other Premier League clubs.
It's said that the 29-year-old is ready to sign a long-term deal at Elland Road, as he's set to become Daniel Farke's first signing of the summer.
The German head coach made it clear to officials that he was keen on adding a left-footed forward to the club's ranks this summer, and it looks like that wish will be granted.
Now, Leeds will look to finalise a deal to sign Wilson, but the Whites won't neglect their other top transfer targets.
Leeds making progress with Shea Charles deal
According to The Athletic this Wednesday, Leeds have reached an agreement with Wilson and his representatives over a move to Elland Road
It is expected that he will join the Whites once his deal with Fulham expires at the end of June, while the Yorkshire-based side will turn their attention to other top priorities.
Leeds had a £20million rejected for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles, who is understood to be valued at £25m by the Saints.
Leeds Live have reported that Leeds remain in talks with Southampton over the Northern Irish international, which follows an agreement with Wilson.
One more free agent wanted as Nico Elvedi bid readied
Leeds are wanting to add another centre-back to their ranks this summer, with uncertainty clouding Pascal Struijk's future.
Borussia Monchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi is of interest to the Whites, as Bild reported that the Paraag Marathe and Co. are ready to pay upwards of £7.3m for his signature.
He is not the only concrete target from Germany, with ex-Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt on the agenda.
The 30-year-old left Dortmund after his contract with the Bundesliga outfit expired recently, and like Wilson, he could come to Elland Road for free this summer.
Adam Pope revealed after an update regarding Wilson that Leeds remain interested in Brandt, who could be next on the agenda in LS11, along with Elvedi and Charles.
