That has forced Melvin Bard, Sean Longstaff, Brendan Aaronson, Wilson and Lukas Nmecha out.

It is a shame to see the Welshman drop out as fans were looking forward to seeing more of him.

The Wales international had looked to be one of the best signings of the summer.

After a stunning season at Fulham where he contributed to 19 goals in all competitions, he looked like a real coup.

The 29-year-old has hardly been given a proper chance by Farke, but did come in from the start against Chelsea.

He grabbed an assist as he created two chances at Stamford Bridge.

It is that sort of quality that fans want to see more regularly and could make the difference against Newcastle.
