Jamie Carragher predicts Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United in Premier League opener
Leeds United return to Premier League action against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
A trip to the City Ground awaits Daniel Farke and his squad on 22 August, after requesting an away fixture first up.
With work underway at Elland Road and expanding the West Stand, Leeds won't play at home until the following weekend against Brentford.
After returning to the Premier League with a bang, the Whites will be looking to prove they belong even further.
Their transfer business shows that perfectly.
Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic, James Trafford and Nico Elvedi all represent huge upgrades to the squad.
But, what does Jamie Carragher think?
Leeds United look for revenge
A trip to the City Ground wasn't one to remember last season, although it got off to a great start.
Lukas Nmecha opened the scoring against Forest with a low drive, only for Ibrahim Sangare to equalise minutes later.
Then Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson struck the final blows, leaving Farke staring down the barrell.
The German bounced back superbly with his squad, and they'll look to reverse that disappointment this time around.
Predicting the opening weekend for Sky Sports' Super 6, Carragher believes it will be a 1-1 draw for Leeds and Forest.
It would be a positive result away from home, but travelling fans are expecting even more, with so much optimism around.
How are Nottingham Forest looking?
Despite some high-profile moves at the City Ground, it could be a case of as you were in terms of players.
Oliver Glasner is now in charge after leaving Crystal Palace, in a real coup for the Tricky Trees.
But, the Austrian struggled against Leeds last season, so that could actually help the Whites and Farke in this case.
Anderson has obviously moved on to Manchester City, while they've managed to keep hold of Gibbs-White.
New signings include Ousmane Diomande and Xaver Schlager, both of whom should start in defence and midfield, respectively.
Gustavo Sa is another arrival, but he's unlikely to make an impact.
As always, the opening day of a season is almost impossible to predict, but any sort of positive result would be great for Leeds, even a draw.
