The 26-year-old overperformed his xGOT of 0.36, taking two shots and scoring one goal, as per Sofascore.
Okafor had 39 touches, attempted four dribbles and was fouled twice.
With Daniel Farke primarily deploying the Switzerland international on the left-wing, he recorded four progressive carries and one of his two crosses was accurate.
The attacker also made one key pass and contributed defensively, winning two tackles and six duels.
Amar Dedic's baptism of fire at Elland Road
Newcastle saw several key players leave in the summer and heavily reinforced, with one of their signings being Dedic for £29.5million from Benfica.
The right-back had a decent start to his spell with the Magpies, but in his fourth Premier League game, he was withdrawn just before the hour mark.
Dedic, 24, lost possession 10 times at Elland Road, failed to win one tackle, lost three ground duels and three aerial duels.
The defender struggled coming up against Okafor, who was substituted in the 72nd minute for Harry Wilson.
Leeds have had an unbeaten start in the Premier League this season, and with Newcastle considered a decent test to see how far Farke's team have progressed, they came out with flying colours.
