Early Leeds team news vs Arsenal: Harry Wilson latest as forgotten teammate definitely out

Leeds United could have done without the international break arriving given their strong start to the campaign.

However, if there is one positive for Daniel Farke it is that his injured players have three weeks to rest up.

The German will then have his fingers crossed that none of Leeds' international players sustain any sort of injuries while away.

Farke has multiple options to call upon in most positions, but injuries to certain players could still seriously derail the Whites' campaign.

Harry Wilson is among those currently on the sidelines, with the Welshman's Elland Road career not exactly taking off just yet.

Will Harry Wilson be fit for Leeds' trip to Arsenal?

Farke hailed Wilson's "outstanding" Fulham figures upon joining Leeds as a free agent in the summer.

While it is true the attacker has yet to get going, Farke will still be eager for Wilson to get back to full fitness as it is clear he can make a huge impact when on form.

Wilson missed Leeds' goalless draw with Crystal Palace prior to the three-week break and was not included in the Wales squad.

Speaking before the Palace game last week, Farke did not offer much of an indication as to when Wilson will return, other than he would miss this window.

That means a return against Arsenal in a fortnight's time has not been ruled out, but the picture should become clearer once Farke next speaks to the media.

Joe Rodon one of two other injured Leeds players

Joe Rodon's injury was a blow for Leeds, coming just a couple of weeks into the campaign.

The Wales international was ruled out by Farke for eight to 10 weeks, setting an estimated return date of the back end of October.

Rodon will therefore definitely not play at Emirates Stadium on Leeds' return to action, barring some sort of miracle.

Farke also has one other player currently out injured, although fans can be forgiven for forgetting Mateo Joseph was even still on the books.

The forward returned injured from a loan spell with Real Mallorca in the summer and is still a few months away from returning from an ACL injury.
