Wilfried Gnonto is on the verge of sealing his Leeds United exit.

The 22-year-old featured heavily in pre-season for Leeds, hoping to make an impression on Daniel Farke.

Now entering his fifth season at Elland Road, the Italian has yet to really prove himself at Premier League level.

And with Leeds bringing in Harry Wilson this summer, competition down the flanks has only intensified further.

Having not yet played a minute of Premier League football this season, Gnonto appears to be down Leeds' pecking order.

Sky Sports Italy reporter Luca Bendoni claims via X that Serie A side Fiorentina are now closing in on a loan agreement for the winger.

Bendoni claims that there will be an option for the Italians to sign Gnonto on a permanent basis too.

It's claimed that he will travel to Italy on Monday evening in order to get the deal done before Tuesday's deadline.
