Wilfried Gnonto ready to seal Leeds United exit, big strides revealed
Wilfried Gnonto appears to be on the verge of leaving Leeds United this summer.
With only two days remaining in the transfer window, Elland Road could remain busy until the final moments.
Daniel Farke admitted after the 1-1 draw with Brentford on Sunday that Leeds are staying alive with a couple of deals possible.
Gnonto leaving may unlock that, although it wouldn't exactly go down very well with the supporters.
Picking up an injury at the worst possible time, the Italian was forced to watch from the bench on his return to the squad on 30 August.

Who will Willy Gnonto be joining?
It appears that a return to Italy is finally on the cards.
After starting with Inter, Gnonto left for senior playing time in Switzerland with FC Zurich.
That led to a move to Leeds in the Premier League, thrown in at the deep end as a young winger with the Whites simply desperate.
It worked out, but after several blips, could be coming to an end now.
Lorenzo Canicchio, editoral of Italian outlet, Gazzetta Regionale, has reported that Gnonto is "ready" for his return home.
Followed by Gianluigi Longari on X too, he reports that the winger is now taking "big strides" towards Fiorentina before Tuesday's deadline.
Will Leeds replace Gnonto?
They simply have to.
Dan James was preferred off the bench against Brentford, and while he can make an impact, his end product is simply shocking at times.
Gnonto has that edge, and that flair that should realistically put him ahead of James and even Brenden Aaronson.
It's been said that Leeds will only let Gnonto leave if they sign a replacement, so progress may have been made there, too.
Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk is a concrete loan option, but that looked unlikely last week.
Maybe some progress has been made there, but even then, Leeds fans would want Gnonto to stay.
