Why Tarik Muharemovic can be Leeds' signing of the summer as Arsenal revelation emerges

Leeds United were not afraid to spend big on players they felt were immediate upgrades with Tarik Muharemovic one of those.

It proves that Leeds are certainly shopping in the right market, and while the 23-year-old cost the Whites £34.1million, that may turn out to be a bargain in hindsight.

Trafford and Muharemovic are already early contenders for Leeds' best signing this season.

Although Trafford may be edging that competition at the moment.

Nonetheless, there is plenty of time for things to shift in this regard, and the Bosnian has been excellent for the Whites.

As shared by Opta stat man, Jonny Cooper, Muharemovic is one of the leading centre-backs for clearances in the Premier League.

That no-nonsense approach to clearing the ball from danger will certainly be appreciated by Farke.

Additionally, with a striker such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin up top, if the ball is cleared and kept in play, there is every chance the Englishman can win the duel to keep possession.
