Leeds United star Noah Okafor has wiped his social media profile.

The Whites star enjoyed a great first season in the Premier League, with eight goals and one assist.

The Whites may have feared that the 26-year-old winger would attract attention after his campaign.

Okafor left the door open for a Leeds exit with his recent comments, but no concrete interest has emerged in his services.

The former AC Milan man confirmed that he will leave his future in the hands of his agency, You First, and the latest actions have seen rumours swirl.

He is currently away with Switzerland at the World Cup, but has seen little action, which may have something to do with the current situation.

Why has Leeds United ace Noah Okafor wiped his social media page?

Okafor has deleted his profile picture and his bio on his Instagram page, suggesting that something is amiss.

However, it is likely to be his lack of minutes with the national team at the tournament, as he has left a lot of Leeds pictures up and not deleted them.

He has featured for just 19 minutes in the tournament, all coming in the round of 32 contest with Algeria.

He did not come off the substitutes bench in any of the Red Crosses three group matches.

What has he said about the Switzerland situation?

Okafor has shared his frustration with the situation already, but his reaction was surprisingly calm before the Algeria clash.

He said: "Of course I'm a bit annoyed or p****d off - whatever you want to call it. As a footballer, you're in the wrong profession if you want to sit on the bench."

"I spoke with Muri [Murat Yakin] again this morning. He explained to me why I didn't come on."

He has had fallings out with Murat Yakin in recent times, and was left out for several international breaks and it appears like those tensions are set to come to the fore again.

The Peacocks star had previously called out a lack of communication and went to director Pierluigi Tami to question his lack of game time at European Championships in 2024.

He is clearly not happy with what has happened at the tournament, and it is telling that images from his club remain on his profile.

He may well be excited to get back to Daniel Farke's side and start the Premier League campaign, so he can be on the pitch again, playing regularly.

After his exploits last season, there will be a place in the side for him, something that does not seem to be the case at international level.
