Lucas Perri could finally seal his move to Torino from Leeds United in the coming days.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has been linked with a move to the Serie A club for several weeks now, but nothing has been finalised yet.

After just one season at the Whites, the 28-year-old shot-stopper is expected to join the Italian side on loan, with the deal including a £9.4million buy option.

James Trafford has officially signed for Leeds and the door now seems to have opened for Perri to depart Elland Road this transfer window.

The West Yorkshire outfit signed the former Olympique Lyon goalkeeper for a £15.6m package, but he has failed to live up to expectations under Daniel Farke.

It isn't surprising to see that the shot-stopper is on his way out of the Peacocks, with confirmation possibly arriving next week.

What Lucas Perri is waiting for to complete Leeds United exit

Perri's move to Torino seemingly hit a roadblock as he was recovering from a quad injury.

However, the goalkeeper's exit from Elland Road has already been lined up and it could be a matter of time.

According to SportMediaset journalist Orazio Accomando on 8 August, the ex-Lyon shot-stopper is expected at Torino on Monday.

The Serie A club have scheduled a medical for Perri and are just awaiting the final green light to go ahead.

Alex Cairns has been Farke's go-to goalkeeping option during pre-season after Karl Darlow and Illan Meslier's exits.

While the Peacocks have signed Trafford, they will certainly be looking for another shot-stopper to back him up.

Three transfers Paraag Marathe could still sign off at Elland Road

As mentioned earlier, Leeds should be looking for a new number two who can deputise for Trafford when needed.

Paraag Marathe has backed Farke with some quality signings this summer, but the Whites may now need to add some numbers to their squad for depth.

A new left-back is clearly needed to cover in Gabriel Gudmunsson's absence.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been firing goals during pre-season, and he looks ready to lead the line again under the German manager, but it wouldn't hurt the West Yorkshire outfit to keep an eye on a market opportunity to sign a new number nine before deadline day.

With less than a month to go, Leeds are still expected to be busy.
