Conrad Harder is attracting interest from Leeds United amid uncertainty over his future at RB Leipzig.

The 21-year-old striker joined the Bundesliga club from Sporting CP last summer for a package deal of around £25million.

Having failed to establish himself in the German side's starting lineup, the Denmark youth international could now be on his way out.

Harmer has emerged as a target at Elland Road as Daniel Farke continues to eye further additions to his squad.

There are still clearly a few holes that need to be plugged at the West Yorkshire outfit.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha are the only two natural options in the number nine position, leaving the German manager with a lack of depth in the position.

Every Conrad Harder exit option amid Leeds United interest

Joel Piroe's move to West Ham United could open the doors for the addition of a new centre-forward at Leeds.

The Suriname international was a bit-part player at Elland Road last season, but gave Farke an option to fall back on in case of Calvert-Lewin and Nmecha's injuries.

According to Foot Mercato on 25 August, the Whites are now monitoring Harder's situation at Leipzig.

The Danish youngster's profile is appreciated at the West Yorkshire outfit and he could be on his way out of the Bundesliga club.

After struggling for regular minutes last season, the striker faces further complications as newly-appointed manager Martin Demichelis doesn't seem to have him in his plans.

Lazio are proposing a loan with a buy option for Harder, Galatasaray are also keeping tabs on the striker and his name has been circulating in several European leagues.

The transfer deals Daniel Farke will want before deadline

Leeds still have some work to do before the 1 September deadline.

The Whites are working on a deal to sign a new backup goalkeeper, with Michael Zetterer's move to Elland Road looking close after an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Harder's potential signing at the West Yorkshire outfit would add depth in a important area.

The Peacocks should also be looking to add cover for Gabriel Gudmundsson, who missed the start of the season due to injury, with James Justin playing left-back against Nottingham Forest.
