Leeds United could be facing a Tarik Muharemovic exit as soon as the January transfer window.

The Bosnian signed for Daniel Farke's side in the summer in a £34.1million deal from Sassuolo, after impressing in Serie A.

He has been brilliant since joining the Elland Road outfit, and that fee is looking more and more like a bargain each week.

The 23-year-old has made seven appearances for the Peacocks so far alongside the likes of Jaka Bijol and Nico Elvedi, not missing a single match.

As a result, Muharemovic has quickly become a fan favourite in LS11, but he is also attracting attention.

However, he could be on his way out of Yorkshire shortly after a new update on his future emerged.

What is the latest on transfer interest in Tarik Muharemovic?

Muharemovic is already not short of suitors, with Inter Milan being heavily linked with his services.

A report from TEAMtalk on Tuesday claims that Bayern Munich have now entered the race.

It states that the Bavarians have made the Whites ace their top target and will make a "determined push" for his signature.

It is understood that they may even make an approach in January, although the summer is regarded as a more likely exit window.

What is Muharemovic's value and would Leeds sell?

Muharemovic has already increased his value since joining the Peacocks, and it is now very high.

He is now rated at £45.4m by the CIES Football Observatory, meaning that they could already make a profit of over £10m.

However, the report states that Farke's side have no intention to let him go, with no sporting or financial motivation to sanction a departure.

They hold all the cards, as the player is contracted until 2031 after signing a five-year deal in the summer.

Bayern would be a very tempting destination, but the Whites can demand whatever they want, as they are not in a position where they need to sell.

It is understood that it would take "something extraordinary" to convince the Peacocks to even think about letting their asset leave.

If the offer is too good to refuse, then they may well change their stance, but right now, he will likely remain a Leeds player until at least the end of the current campaign.
