Leeds United ace Largie Ramazani's dreams of a Valencia return are surely over.
The Belgian spent last season with Carlos Corberan's side and he was hoping to move to La Mestalla again.
He played 31 times in his time in Spain, notching six goals and two assists while on loan.
They were reportedly considering him, if other targets did not materialise, with Corberan unconvinced.
However, it appears that his hopes have been dashed as the La Liga side booked a medical for an alternative attacking player.

Why Largie Ramazani's Valencia dreams are set to be dashed
Ramazani looks to be heading to Burnley, but he was understood to be waiting on a last-minute phone-call from the Spanish outfit, hoping that they would take him.
However, that possibility seems minimal after Valencia made progress on a deal for Harvey Elliott.
Fabrizio Romano claimed on Monday that they had reached a verbal agreement with Liverpool over the 23-year-old.
His report stated that Corberan's side have already agreed personal terms with the player and will cover the majority of the salary.
A medical has already been booked, so it looks likely to be done before the deadline.
Are Valencia right to target Elliott over Ramazani?
Valencia know what Ramazani brings, they have already seen him in action over an entire season.
The underlying data is encouraging, with 3.75 shots, 1.18 chances created and 4.78 touches in the opposition box per 90 minutes, according to FotMob data.
Meanwhile, Elliott averaged 4.09 shots, 0.82 chances created and 7.36 touches in the opposition box per game on loan with Aston Villa.
His spell with the Villans was disappointing, but the numbers look very good considering he did not feature often.
It is easy to see why the Spanish side favour the Englishman over the Whites flop. With the data that they both managed last season, Elliott's is better and it looks like he will offer more.
