Burnley advance on Largie Ramazani deal as Leeds outcast left waiting by the phone
It looks as though Largie Ramazani might be stood up by Valencia before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
After spending last season on loan at the La Liga club, the Leeds United attacker has been linked with a reunion with Carlos Corberan in Spain.
The 25-year-old Belgian scored six times in 31 appearances for Valencia last season.
However, it doesn't seem as though he's done enough to convince them to sign him before the deadline, with Burnley now reportedly pressing ahead with a deal.
However, there's apparently still the chance for a last-minute twist.

What the latest noises in Spain are about Largie Ramazani
According to Spanish journalist German Munoz, Burnley are "moving forward" with their bid to sign Ramazani, who's been left out of Leeds' first three matchday squads this season.
The El Chiringuito TV reporter, however, adds that Ramazani is "still waiting for a last-minute call" from Valencia.
It was reported last week that Valencia had made a loan-to-buy bid for Ramazani.
It was reportedly an initial loan with an obligation to buy clause for next summer worth £3.4m.
However, it remains to be seen if Leeds have accepted that, especially as two years ago they paid £10m to sign the ex-Manchester United attacker from Almeria.
Why Leeds are trying to sell Ramazani
It's fair to say that Ramazani, for a £10m signing in the Championship, has been a huge failure at Elland Road.
He made 31 appearances and scored seven goals in his one and only full season at the Yorkshire club. However, he only started nine of those games as Daniel Farke preferred other options ahead of him.
Despite doing well enough at Valencia last season to keep them interested in him, Ramazani didn't do well enough to win a spot in Farke's plans.
Wilfried Gnonto's potential move to Fiorentina doesn't seem to help either, even though the Italian's exit would free up a spot for Ramazani in the first-team squad.
Ultimately, this might be a case of Leeds cutting their losses on a player who, unfortunately, isn't good enough for the Premier League.
