That obviously isn't the case as the Whites are yet to complete a single transfer at this early stage of the summer.
Fans are waiting eagerly to see Wilson in a Leeds shirt, years after Marcelo Bielsa wanted him in Yorkshire.
They could be waiting a bit longer after Leeds Live reported on Sunday that an announcement "is not imminent".
That means it could happen next week as terms have been agreed, but documents haven't been signed at this stage.
The Welshman must also undergo a medical, meaning a deal could be announced at some point next week.
That would seemingly be ideal for all parties given his Fulham deal ends on 30 June and he could then seal a free transfer to LS11.
And Leeds' business will not end there as more deals are in the pipeline.
Who could Leeds sign after Wilson?
The beauty of a pre-contract signing means that the Whites won't lose a penny out of their summer budget with the attacker.
He will bring undoubted quality to Farke's side, but also leaves him with funds to spare for other targets.
That will mark the perfect start to the window in Yorkshire, but things have to carry on to be that positive.
Shea Charles could continue that if he moves from Southampton as Leeds continue to be strongly linked.
Amario Cozier-Duberry has also emerged as a target at Brighton, as has Borussia Monchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi.
Any of those could follow Wilson through the door, although he looks set to be the first when a deal is announced after 30 June.
