What Leeds United plan to do as Jayden Lienou announcement made
Leeds United have confirmed Jayden Lienou has signed a new deal as their next steps in the transfer market are outlined.
The 18-year-old arrived at Thorp Arch from Manchester City a year ago and is already considered near first-team ready.
He was also called up by the Wales senior side for the first time for their summer friendlies, albeit he did not feature from the bench.
Lienou has also been part of Daniel Farke's senior squad in the early stages of pre-season.

As previously reported by MOT Leeds News, Lienou still had two years to run on his Elland Road contract.
As confirmed by Leeds via their official website on Tuesday, the left-back now been tied down until 2029.
While not announced by Leeds, the new terms are likely to also see his pay increase in line with his rise over the past 12 months.
When not being part of the Wales and Leeds senior squads, Lienou has been a regular for both teams at age-grade levels.
Lienou now looks ready to provide back-up to Gabriel Gudmundsson, but will Leeds still move for another left-back?
Leeds' left-back plan hasn't changed
It has been reported this summer that Leeds are in the market for a new left-back.
Gudmundsson was superb in his maiden campaign in West Yorkshire, but he sustained an injury towards the end of it.
Farke cannot afford to be without the Sweden international for a period of next season and another recognised left-back is wanted.
That is according to Graham Smyth in an update via the Yorkshire Evening Post on Tuesday.
Assuming a new left-back is indeed brought in to provide back-up and potentially competition for Gudmundsson, it could then pave the way for Lienou to head out on loan.
Whether next season or another year or two down the line, expect to see plenty more from this young talent in a Leeds shirt.
