Ryan Kent transfer development emerges as Leeds United table bid

Jose Mourinho is not a fan of Fenerbahce winger Ryan Kent which has seen Leeds United make a bid for him, according to Haber Ekspres.

The Turkish news outlet reported on 31 July that the Whites’ offer is in the region of £2.5million.

The Whites are hoping to conclude transfer talks soon to bring the 27-year-old English winger to Elland Road.

Leeds United must seal Ryan Kent transfer as soon as possible

After impressing in a game for Rangers last year, then-Hibs manager Lee Johnson was left gushing over Kent’s performances.

“I thought Ryan Kent was outstanding in terms of running the game from that central area,” he said, as quoted by the Rangers Review.

He has proven himself as a top performer in the Scottish Premiership, showcasing his ability to create and score goals consistently and would thrive in the Championship

Secondly, Kent’s playing style aligns well with Leeds United’s style of play under Daniel Farke.

His pace, dribbling skills and versatility on the wing would add a new dimension to Leeds’ attacking options.

At 27 years old, the Englishman is arguably in his prime and would likely adapt to life in England quickly.

He’d also be closer to his home and that’s always a major factor in deciding the next move so it remains to be seen if this deal goes ahead.

In other Leeds United news, a bidding war update emerges as the Whites want to sign an £8.5m-rated attacker.
