Norwich make new Saturday decision on Jonathan Rowe as Leeds United want transfer
Norwich City have placed a £15million price tag on Jonathan Rowe amid interest from Leeds United, according to the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper reported [10 August, page 60] that Norwich have named their price for the 21-year-old forward in an attempt to ward off the Whites this summer.
It is understood that Daniel Farke’s side submitted an offer of £7million, as per The Sun [9 August], but the Canaries want more than double that if Rowe is to leave Carrow Road.
Leeds United to pay £15million for Jonathan Rowe?
It could be seen as quite a risk to splash £15million on the 21-year-old winger, who has only just broken into the Norwich first team, but his appearances would suggest it is more than worth it.
Farke is now without Crysencio Summerville on the left flank, and even with Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto able to fill his absence, the club need reinforcements if promotion is the target this season.
Leeds will certainly be on red alert after the player’s most recent decision, having pulled out of the Norwich squad to face Oxford United in the opening match of the 2024/25 Championship campaign [Connor Southwell].
There is plenty of interest surrounding the young star, especially after notching 12 goals and two assists in the league last term, and the Whites will need to act fast if they are to sign him this summer.

The latest update will mean that several teams will be keeping a close eye on his current situation on Carrow Road, so if Leeds are going to meet the new price tag, they need to do it soon.
Leeds are not expected to invest that kind of fee for a single player, but with the money made from Archie Gray and Summerville, it is certainly not out of the question.
