New timeframe emerges for James Trafford completion at Leeds amid update from Italy
Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford's belated move to Leeds United finally appears to be close to going through.
News first emerged of Leeds being in talks with the England international last Thursday.
Leeds have since agreed a fee of £40million upfront with City, plus £5m in add-ons.
Trafford has also reached an agreement with regards to his salary at Elland Road, believed to be £130,000 a week.
The final touches are now being put to the deal and it appears as though confirmation will drop before the end of Thursday.
That is amid an update that is emerging out of Italy regarding fellow goalkeeper Lucas Perri.

MOT Leeds News has also reported extensively on Perri's impending exit from Elland Road.
Leeds have been reluctant to allow Perri - hailed as "excellent" by Paul Robinson last season after his penalty-save heroics against Birmingham City - to leave their camp in the United States until the Trafford deal is concluded.
This is due to Alex Cairns being the only other senior option Daniel Farke can call upon right now.
Well, respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported via his website that Torino expect to finalise a deal for Perri between Wednesday and Thursday.
That suggests Trafford will also be announced by Leeds in that same timeframe, all going well.
When could Trafford make his Leeds debut?
Trafford may not have played for England at the World Cup, but he is still given the mandatory three weeks off by FIFA.
That means he will be available from 8 August, assuming he does not want to get going any earlier.
Leeds take on Sunderland and Liverpool over the next four days, before then meeting RB Leipzig at Elland Road on 8 August.
Whether or not Trafford plays any part in that game likely depends on whether he has taken part in training beforehand.
The most important thing is he is ready to go come the clash with Nottingham Forest in a little under a month's time.
