Lucas Perri's Leeds United exit continues to tick ever closer to going through.

The Brazilian goalkeeper's time at Elland Road is up following the signing of James Trafford and imminent addition of Michael Zetterer.

Zetterer is set to join Leeds from Eintracht Frankfurt and provide back-up to big-money signing Trafford.

That finally opens the door to Perri's exit, although there has been confusion as to who he will actually join.

It now seems a move to Torino, as first expected, is nailed on amid developments on Thursday evening.

And it may now be just a matter of time before Leeds' latest exit is announced.

Where was Lucas Perri spotted as Leeds exit nears?

Perri's Leeds exit has dragged on for a long, long time now.

However, that is understandable as Leeds first wanted a replacement, while Lyon complicated matters by lodging a late interest.

It was reported on Thursday that Perri's move to Torino was on hold once again.

However, Friday's print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Perri was in Pavone Canavese later that evening.

That is an area of Turin, where Torino play, suggesting the wheels are very much still in motion.

The report adds that Perri should still become Torino's seventh signing of the summer.

Like earlier this week, it may be part of a double announcement of sorts.

Leeds copying Nico Elvedi model with Perri exit

Leeds were in a similar position with Nico Elvedi and Sebastiaan Bornauw.

It was clear Bornauw was heading to Hamburg, but only once fellow centre-back Nico Elvedi had been brought in as his like-for-like replacement - or upgrade.

Bornauw's exit and Elvedi's arrival were announced within an hour of each other earlier this week.

We can surely expect the same when it comes to Perri's Elland Road exit and Zetterer's arrival in West Yorkshire being confirmed.

That will finally bring down the curtain on Perri's exit saga, with Leeds then able to potentially turn focus to signing a new centre-forward in the final stages of the window.
