Leeds United have gone all out to sign James Trafford from Manchester City this transfer window.

The Whites are expected to complete a deal for the England international in a deal worth £45million, including add-ons.

Ahead of next season, the goalkeeper has been looking for a move away from the Etihad Stadium after playing second fiddle to Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Leeds seem to have now won the race for Trafford and have made a significant financial commitment to sign him for Daniel Farke.

The 23-year-old is one of the most highly-rated prospects in the Premier League after impressing with Burnley.

With game time under Enzo Maresca expected to be limited, the West Yorkshire outfit may have presented him with the perfect project and offer.

How much Leeds United will pay James Trafford

MOT Leeds News recently covered a report that stated Trafford was set to become the highest-paid Leeds player.

While the likes of Ethan Ampadu, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Harry Wilson will likely be earning hefty sums, the Whites have left no stone unturned to convince the Man City shot-stopper.

According to the Daily Mail on 28 July, Trafford could earn £130,000 a week once he puts pen to paper on his contract at Elland Road.

Apart from the transfer fee the West Yorkshire outfit will be paying, the deal for the goalkeeper also includes a sell-on clause.

It's safe to say the Englishman must have been one of the Peacocks' priority targets and they've done everything in their power to sign him.

What James Trafford transfer means for Daniel Farke at Elland Road

Paraag Marathe is keeping his word at Leeds after backing Farke so far.

The Whites spent £34m to sign Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo as they looked to replace Pascal Struijk.

Farke will now be getting a key player in Trafford as the West Yorkshire outfit look for a new number one after Lucas Perri's struggles and Karl Darlow's exit.

What 49ers Enterprises needed to do this summer was bring quality rather than quantity to Elland Road, which they have done so far.

Farke will have no excuses not to make further progress in the Premier League and possibly challenge for a European spot next season as the Peacocks look to match his ambitions.
