Leeds United now know what they need to do to sign Shea Charles from Southampton.

Personal terms have "almost" been agreed with the 22-year-old ahead of a move for in the region of £25million.

The final details are now being worked on, giving Leeds a late chance to try and make a deal happen, or they will miss out.

The versatile midfielder was once described as "irreplicable" by Sheffield Wednesday teammate Di’Shon Bernard.

In his one season on loan at Hillsborough, many deemed him to be the Owls' first, second and third best player that year, including Bernard.

It has been over a year since then, and he has only gotten better.

That is what has alerted Leeds to his signature and has led them to push to make a deal happen.
