Leeds United exits: State of play as Illan Meslier move to Arsenal confirmed
Illan Meslier's exit from Leeds United could be just the start.
The beleaguered goalkeeper did not play at all last season, and the 26-year-old has finally left Elland Road to join Arsenal as a free agent.
Pascal Struijk has already departed to join Brighton, and Harry Gray has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan.
Leeds have confirmed the signing of Harry Wilson, but so far exits have taken the priority in the transfer market.
That may well continue in the next few weeks, with several players linked with moves away from LS11.
MOT Leeds News looks at the latest on each exit-linked players' situation.
Could Joe Gelhardt finally seal permanent Leeds exit?
Joe Gelhardt has just one year left on his Leeds deal, and it is understood that he has no future in Yorkshire.
He spent last season at Hull City, where he notched 14 goals in 39 Championship matches, and the Tigers want him permanently.
A report from Hull Daily Mail on Monday claimed a move can't be ruled out this summer, but it not likely to happen in the early weeks of the window.
Rangers, who are also owned by the 49ers Enterprises group, have also been linked with the 24-year-old.
What is the latest on Largie Ramazani's Leeds future?
Valencia could resign Largie Ramazani at a discounted rate, according to Spanish journalist Hector Gomez.
Speaking via Tribuna Deportiva on Thursday, he said that the winger is now surplus to requirements.
Ramazani will have a significant say on where he moves next, and that could be the Mestalla after his loan.
Ridiculously, though, Gomez states that with an reasonable fee expected, only £2.5million has been offered so far.
At this point, it may make sense for Leeds to give in on their demands and take a lower fee, but maybe not that low given SCR and old PSR rules.
Elland Road exit back on for Jack Harrison?
Jack Harrison is another who does not have a future under Daniel Farke.
According to Gomez as well, Valencia was also a potential destination for him, before he linked up with Fiorentina on loan, but Ramazani's situation saw the move crumble
They wanted to send the Belgian back to Thorp Arch and bring the Englishman in, but Leeds asked them to find a new destination for Ramazani.
However, the Spaniards could not satisy that condition, despite clubs making enquiries, and after the winger started to score, they decided to keep him.
He claimed that the Black and Whites have all the "information" that they need on the 29-year-old, suggesting that a move could be back on.
MLS club New England Revolution have also been mooted as a potential destination for the winger.
These three could be the start of a very big Elland Road clearout.
