Leeds United are not playing around in the summer transfer window, with the 49ers throwing cash around.

After the £34million signing of Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo, Daniel Farke is now on the lookout for a new goalkeeper.

Muharemovic replaces Pascal Struijk, while the headline free transfer of Harry Wilson was perfect for the final third.

With Illan Meslier and Karl Darlow somehow joining Arsenal and Manchester United respectively, more action is needed in LS11.

That's where Parma goalkeeper, Zion Suzuki, comes into play.

With Leeds desperate for a new number one, big money is once again being thrown around by the Americans.

Details revealed as Leeds United bid for Zion Suzuki

MOT Leeds News has covered news that Suzuki could cost at least £29.8million this summer.

With Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa also tipped with interest, the Whites need to move quick if that's who they want.

That's what they may have just done.

Luca Cerchione of OcW Sports in Italy, has reported that Leeds have made a bid of £25.4m, plus bonuses for the Japan international.

There are two issues with that, one being that Juventus have also made a bid, albeit lower than the Whites.

Parma are now said to be asking for just below £34m, with things starting to get "serious" from tomorrow as Suzuki returns to training.

With both offers deemed too low, Leeds will need to bid again.

James Trafford dilemma that could haunt Leeds United

It's no secret that the Whites are also massive fans of James Trafford.

The problem with that is nobody knows if Manchester City will allow him to leave the Etihad Stadium.

Only just finishing at the World Cup, Trafford will now have his three-week break, which takes us to only seven days before the Premier League season starts.

Then, Enzo Maresca has replaced Pep Guardiola, so who knows if the Italian will want to keep him behind Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Given Leeds' dire situation in their goalkeeping ranks, signing Suzuki know may be the best play and least risk, rather than waiting for Trafford without a guarantee of it actually happening.

If Trafford and City can guarantee his exit and Leeds as a destination, that is when the 49ers need to act, there isn't time to waste.
