Leeds United are chasing a deadline-busting move for Jean-Matteo Bahoya.

Daniel Farke has been keen to add another attacker to the Whites' ranks before the deadline.

They have lost Largie Ramazani, who has moved on loan to Burnley, with the potential for a permanent exit.

Wilfried Gnonto is another potential departure, as he is waiting for the go-ahead to join Fiorentina.

It was looking like a race against time, given the 11pm deadline, but now there may be hope and a domino effect.

What could happen if Leeds sign Jean-Matteo Bahoya?

If Leeds sign Bahoya, it could open the door for another exit in LS11.

The Athletic's Beren Cross claimed on Tuesday that the Whites are exploring a deal for Bahoya.

His report states that they are in negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt for the left winger.

It is understood that Gnonto is still awaiting news on his move to Italy, with the window over there closing at 7pm.

Cross claims that sources at the Whites are keen to stress than an exit will not be sanctioned unless a replacement is sorted.

Who is Leeds target Bahoya?

Bahoya is a 21-year-old winger, who already has plenty of experience to his name.

He has played 59 times in the Bundesliga, with five goals and seven assists in Germany's top-flight.

Bahoya also has 10 appearances in Ligue 1, but did not register a contribution in that division.

He has featured nine times in the Europa League and eight times in the Champions League, so he already knows what it is like to play on the biggest stages.

That should serve him well in Yorkshire, and should allow him to adapt quickly to what Farke wants from him.

If the deal gets over the line, Peacocks supporters will forget all about Igor Paixao and Mykhailo Mudryk, the latter who was hijacked by Tottenham after Leeds were in talks.
