Leeds United are targeting Olympique Lyon attacker Pavel Sulc and Julian Brandt.

The Whites have signed Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic so far, but transfer business in LS11 certainly isn't done yet.

Daniel Farke is looking for quality additions to his squad ahead of next season and 49ers Enterprises are working on it.

Brandt and Sulc are being heavily linked with moves to Elland Road, but they occupy very similar positions.

The Germany international, who turned 30 in May, represents an experienced option on a bargain deal and is available for free after his contract at Borussia Dortmund expired.

As for Sulc, 25, he had an impressive debut campaign in France after making a name for himself in Czechia, but the West Yorkshire outfit may have their transfer preference.

When Leeds United will make Pavel Sulc transfer move

MOT Leeds News covered reports that Brandt's father had arrived at Thorp Arch to discuss a potential deal.

While the Whites are keen on signing the German playmaker, they face competition for his signature.

Sulc is also being eyed by the West Yorkshire outfit, who are aware of the versatile attacker who scored 11 goals in Ligue 1 last season.

According to the YEP on 20 July, the Peacocks aren't actively pursuing a deal for the Lyon star.

The situation could change later in the window if Farke is unable to get other transfer business over the line.

It looks like Sulc has become a contingency plan for the Elland Road hierarchy if they can't convince Brandt.

How Leeds can solve Daniel Farke conundrum in an instant as Pavel Sulc talks begin

One transfer mistake Paraag Marathe can't repeat at Elland Road

Farke clearly feels Leeds lack quality in the number 10 position, which is why it's probably being addressed this summer.

The Whites undoubtedly lacked quality and depth in certain areas of the pitch last season, but they managed to avoid Premier League relegation in the end.

In the winter transfer window, the 49ers did give the German manager a new playmaker in Facundo Buonanotte, but the transfer proved disastrous.

The Argentine youngster's loan move from Brighton and Hove Albion didn't work out as he made just three appearances in the Premier League for the Peacocks.

What the West Yorkshire outfit can't afford to do is miss out on their top targets and be forced into signing players similar to Buonanotte.
