Largie Ramazani somehow still remains a Leeds United player.

The Belgian fell out of favour with Daniel Farke as the Whites lifted the Championship title, despite a promising start to his career in LS11.

Injury struck midway through, and he never got a real chance again.

As Leeds took to the Premier League, Ramazani was sent on loan to Valencia with Carlos Corberan instead.

Despite a slow start at the Mestalla, the winger once again became a key part of the squad in La Liga.

That is yet to materialise into a permanent move, though.

What is latest on Largie Ramazani exit?

Everybody at Leeds knows that it is no secret that Valencia would like to sign Ramazani again.

For their part, the 49ers Enterprises are playing hardball to make sure they aren't underselling a decent-profile winger.

Levante EMV has reported in its print edition that Ramazani in pole position for Valencia if they sign a winger.

The Spanish newspaper states that with injuries hitting hard in the final third, another transfer is likely.

Leeds are said to be keeping the door closed at this stage of August, with a permanent exit more likely wanted.

Leeds have finally been ruthless in transfer window

For too many years, the Whites have not been good enough in getting players off their books.

Finally, the 49ers have made sure that's changed.

Jack Harrison, Isaac Schmidt, Max Wober and Joe Gelhardt have all left permanently for over £10million.

Add the £18million received for Pascal Struijk, and the net spend is looking brilliant at Elland Road.

That's even with almost £80m being spent on James Trafford and Tarik Muharemovic, with Harry Wilson sensationally signing for free.

Ramazani is the last of the so-called deadwood that needs shifting, with Joel Piroe also set to join West Ham this week.

Others would have Dan James and Brenden Aaronson in that category too, but they will play a part in Farke's plans this season.

Whether you agree or not, it's been a breath of fresh air to finally see Leeds moving with real smarts in the market.

Ramazani being sold could be next, with Leeds in a position to sell up rather than loaning as we've seen so many times before.
