Julian Brandt and Shea Charles update emerges after Leeds agree Harry Wilson deal
Leeds United's transfer plans are continuing at a pace this summer.
The Whites are seemingly on the cusp of welcoming Harry Wilson to Elland Road on a free transfer, with the Wales ace set to leave Fulham as a free agent.
The signing of the 29-year-old would represent a great piece of business for Leeds, particularly as they first attemted to sign him a year ago.
But there is no sign of Leeds slowing down in their pursuit of reinforcements for the 2026/27 season.
Shea Charles and Julian Brandt have been heavily linked with a move too, and would add even more quality to Daniel Farke's ranks.
BBC broadcaster Adam Pope has now shared his latest information following a new update on Wilson today.
Leeds to push ahead with more deals after Harry Wilson
It looks as though the deal to bring Wilson to Leeds is drawing ever closer, in a huge boost to Farke's squad.
David Ornstein reported for the Athletic that an agreement has been reached for Wilson to make the move to Leeds.
Wilson is set to receive a pay rise to make his switch to West Yorkshire, with a medical to happen in "due course".
Pope took to X to credit Ornstein with that update, then replied to his original post to talk about Charles and Brandt.
He wrote that Leeds remain in the hunt to bring in free agent Brandt, who is set to leave Borussia Dortmund, and Southampton midfielder Charles, for whom Leeds have had a reported £20million bid rejected.
How will Daniel Farke shape up his Leeds side next season?
Leeds' transfer window has certainly been exciting in the past few days, and if they manage to pull off all three signings it would be excellent work.
The big question is, though, where will the trio play if they all sign, especially given Farke switched to a 3-5-2 during the last campaign.
If may be that the German decides he can revert back to a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 if he signs a bit more attacking quality.
Certainly one of those systems would suit Wilson and Brandt better, as they can play on the flanks or behind a striker.
If he sticks with the 3-5-2 it is likely one would have to play behind a central striker in Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
As a deep-lying playmaker, Charles could suit either system, and he would act as a good foil for the likes of captain Ethan Ampadu and Anton Stach.
