Harry Wilson transfer latest at Leeds United as big-money bid launched for Shea Charles
Harry Wilson remains firmly on Leeds United's radar as transfer business in LS11 begins to ramp up.
The Whites have already begun their quest to make squad improvements, with a £20million bid sent for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles.
Charles would be the first signing of the summer for Daniel Farke, but he would certainly not be the last.
The Whites are working on a number of deals ahead of pre-season.
One of which is the aforementioned Wilson, who is available to sign as a free agent.
However, there is a third transfer being lined up at Elland Road amid a new triple update out of Yorkshire involving both Wilson and Charles.
What is the latest on Leeds' transfer business?
While Leeds have launched a bid for Southampton star Charles, they are not slowing down on the business front.
With interest in both Wilson rife as well as links to German Julian Brandt, a new update has emerged about all three transfers.
According to journalist Graham Smyth via the Yorkshire Evening Post, none of these deals are connected as the Whites still want to land all three players.
The report shares that while Leeds view the deal for Charles as an ongoing process, they are "still in negotiations" to complete moves for both Wilson and Brandt.
Both are available on free transfers, so negotiations will solely be with the players and their representatives.
The trio of players would certainly add plenty of additional quality to the Whites as Farke looks to bounce off the back of last season's 14th place finish.
Which Leeds players will keep a close eye on this latest update?
With Leeds ramping up their business, there will be quite a few with one eye on their position in Farke's squad.
With the arrival of Wilson, both Daniel James and Wilfried Gnonto will likely drop further down the pecking order, and could seek a move elsewhere for game time
Brandt's acquistion would threaten the place of Brenden Aaronson, who has often played in the number 10 role.
Additionally, Charles would be coming into competition for central midfield. Ethan Ampadu's position would likely be safe in that regard.
However, Ao Tanaka, Ilia Gruev, Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach may have a fight to maintain or gain their place in the starting lineup.
On the surface, that number of midfielders will be a headache for Farke as he decides his best team.
But, it is a selection problem the German would likely love to have heading into next season.
