Calvert-Lewin and Brenden Aaronson among winners and losers of Leeds' transfer window so far

Leeds United are embarking on an ambitious summer transfer window.

The Whites have done some shrewd business in the window already as they look to bolster Daniel Farke's squad.

Harry Wilson arrived on a free transfer after leaving Fulham at the end of his contract.

Tarik Muharemovic has joined on a £34million deal from Sassuolo to boost the options at centre-back.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin - Winner

One person who really stands to win from what Leeds are doing this summer is Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a successful first campaign at Elland Road after joining from on a free transfer following the expiry of his Everton contract.

Calvert-Lewin is a striker who thrives on quality service and the addition of Wilson should really help in that regard.

Throw in the fact that Leeds are attempting to add Julian Brandt to their squad, and Calvert-Lewin should have plenty of chances created for him.

Daniel Farke - Winner

One of the main winners could well be Leeds boss Farke himself.

Towards the end of the campaign, Farke spoke about how Leeds need to reset their goals and show ambition to reach the next level.

Well, the Whites are certainly doing that and if they can keep adding the sort of quality they have so far, Farke certainly stands to benefit.

Of course, that will bring different pressure for Farke, who will know he has to show that with additional quality he can help Leeds take the next step.

But it's a great position for the boss to be in, and with a few more additions the strength of the squad is looking very healthy.

Brenden Aaronson - Loser

Brenden Aaronson's Leeds career can best be described as topsy-turvy.

But the United States international might find himself falling deep down the pecking order now that Wilson has arrived.

Moreover, if Leeds can get a deal for Brandt over the line - a move that is not completely cut and dry - then minutes will be further limited.

Aaronson is a player who certainly tries hard, but his consistency can sometimes be lacking and if Leeds can add upgrades then frankly it is a no-brainer.

Sebastiaan Bornauw - Loser

There are still big question marks about Sebastiaan Bornauw's ability to be a top Premier League operator.

Even with the addition of Muharemovic, there have been suggestions that Farke still wants another centre-back this summer.

If he gets that particularly wish, then Bornauw would be fifth-choice centre-back.

He is a versatile player, but there are seemingly limitations to his play, and he feels like a loser from the goings on at Elland Road this summer.
