All 30 players Leeds United failed to sign in summer transfer window, including Julian Brandt and lethal striker
Leeds United had plenty of top targets that they missed out on this summer.
Though the Whites had another productive summer transfer window, there were some key players that Daniel Farke really wanted to sign.
The likes of James Trafford, Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic were all top targets, but in between all LS11 arrivals are players who could have also become superstars at Elland Road this season.
With credit to Paraag Marathe and Co., the club warned that they are still not able to operate how they wish in the market as a Premier League side for another two seasons.
In saying that, the club's net spend surpassed -£50million, showcasing the ambition once again.
Seven new faces have arrived at Elland Road, but MOT Leeds News takes a look at the whopping 30 players that the Whites failed to sign.
Players Leeds failed to sign: Goalkeepers to midfielders
While Trafford and Michael Zetterer joined the club as number one and number two options inbetween the sticks, there were also other targets.
Zion Suzuki and Kjell Scherpen were both linked with a move to Elland Road, while Orjan Nyland was linked as a potential back up for Leeds, alongside Orlando Gill, Jacob Zetterstrom and Italian shot-stopper Michele Di Gregorio.
Standard Leige's Matthieu Epolo was loosely linked to Leeds near deadline day.
Muharemovic and Nico Elevedi were both tracked by the Whites for a long time, but so was Danilho Doekhi, who moved to Lazio on a free transfer, as was Ousmane Diomande, who chose Nottingham Forest.
Other defensive targets consisted of John Stones and Oumar Solet, with wing-back Dario Osario also on the list, as reported by by Chilean outlet Campo, before he moved to Crystal Palace.
Julian Brandt was a big name that dominated transfer news for a while, but he opted for European football with Ajax over a free transfer to join Farke.
Other midfielders linked with Leeds were Pavel Sulc, Harvey Elliott, Jhon Solis, Nelson Deossa, Matias Orozco and of course, Shea Charles, who Leeds were unable to agree a deal with Southampton for.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport on 20 July, Leeds had interest in AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah, while young Cameroonian Arthur Avom was touted for a move to Elland Road.
The exciting forwards Leeds failed to sign
Farke wanted a left-footed right-sided forward this window, and he got that with Wilson.
But there with other targets on his list that he may regret missing out on.
Rafael Leao, Igor Paixao, Lois Openda and Mykhailo Mudryk were all big-name forwards that mooted for a move to LS11 at one point.
Mohamed Amoura was a target Leeds looked at during the World Cup, but has since joined Nice on loan from Wolfsburg, as The i Paper linked now-Nottingham Forest striker Liam Delap with a move to the Whites in July.
Zian Flemming and Barcelona's Roony Bardghji were two others names in the mix, while RB Leipzig's lethal young forward Conrad Harder was heavily linked to sign for Leeds near the deadline, but ended up joining Strasbourg on loan.
Leeds had a big list of potential signings to say the least, but let's hope the one's they have brought through the door at Thorp Arch can have a big impact.
