Adrian Durham once again made the headlines this week as he made a crazy suggestion on Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips.

The talkSPORT host insisted that the Yorkshire Pirlo should be dropped against Denmark in the EURO 2020 semi-final clash this evening.

Gareth Southgate is a huge fan of Phillips and has started him in every single game of the tournament so far.

Durham suggested that Mason Mount and Declan Rice should occupy the two midfield roles, in order to make space for Jack Grealish.

"I’m dropping Kalvin Phillips,” he said.

“Mount has earned that right, he played so well, he’s so disciplined tactically, that it is impossible to ignore him.

We still can't get our head around this one.

Why would Southgate suddenly change his mind completely, change his system, just to bring Grealish in?

It doesn't look likely to happen though, with many reports suggesting that the only change is Bukayo Saka coming in for Jadon Sancho in the final third.

Phillips looks set to play a massive role in finally bringing football home this week, and he deserves it - bring it back to Elland Road.
