Daniel Farke must hook Jayden Bogle after what he did in Millwall v Leeds United

Daniel Farke must axe Jayden Bogle at half-time of the Leeds United clash against Millwall if they don’t want to concede any more goals.

The Whites are heading into the second half of their Championship game at the Den with Leeds currently trailing 1-0.

The game has been fairly end-to-end thus far with both sides having good spells throughout.

Bogle’s performance has left a lot to be desired and it feels like Sam Byram would be able to do a far better job defensively if he was brought on.

Sam Byram can help solidify the Leeds United defence

Byram was unlucky to be benched for Leeds’ game against Neil Harris’ men as he’d found himself in some stellar form in the Whites’ previous games against Bristol City and Plymouth Argyle.

However, as has been the case for most of the season, Bogle and Junior Firpo were chosen and still remain as Farke’s favoured pairing.

In their game against the Lions, however, Bogle has already given away a foul and has won just of the ground duels he’s attempted (Sofascore).

While his role is to push forward and provide the attack with assistance, it feels like he’s disregarded his defensive duties one too many times and has often left Joe Rodon to deal with Romain Esse by himself.

The Welshman can obviously more than handle his own on the pitch but it feels unfair for the former Tottenham man to be left alone.

Byram’s integration would help solidify the Whites’ defence and while they may lose some attacking prowess, the likes of Willy Gnonto and Dan James will no doubt be able to pick up the slack.
